Ogen House Mendel held two Open Houses this year and both of them were highly successful. All told, over 250 prospective freshmen walked through Mendel's doors. The excellent attendance figures, which were the highest in recent years, were the result of extra efforts made by Mendel's publicity and recruiting department. Father Donald Harkabus, O.S.A., and Father Michael Hogan, O.S.A., were largely responsible for the coordination of student and faculty efforts.
