IN MEMORIAM When first we planned our book, this page was to be a contents page for the remaining features. Little did we realize that we would insert a memorial page commemorating the death of one from the Mendel family. God saw fit to call to his eternal reward one of our own faculty, a priest of the Augustinian family, Father Prior. What better place to engrave our testimonial and remembrance of this devoted priest than on this page alongside the picture of the Augustinian burial plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. ' May this memorial remind us, whenever we leaf through this book, to remember him in our prayers. Let his memory inspire us to pray for all our teachers, living and dead. May his memory lead us to pray that many Mendel- men will one day offer themselves to the service of God as successors to such as Father Prior. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. FATHER GERALD PRIOR, O.S.A.
