IN MEMORIAM When first we planned our book, this page was to be a contents page for the remaining features. Little did we realize that we would insert a memorial page commemorating the death of one from the Mendel family. God saw fit to call to his eternal reward one of our own faculty, a priest of the Augustinian family, Father Prior. What better place to engrave our testimonial and remembrance of this devoted priest than on this page alongside the picture of the Augustinian burial plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. ' May this memorial remind us, whenever we leaf through this book, to remember him in our prayers. Let his memory inspire us to pray for all our teachers, living and dead. May his memory lead us to pray that many Mendel- men will one day offer themselves to the service of God as successors to such as Father Prior. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. FATHER GERALD PRIOR, O.S.A. But the Augustinian Family will not end with the grave -it continues in eternity! Those now serving in this life will one day be called by Christ to join their brethren who have already answered the Master's summons: Well done, good i and taithtul servant, . .Come ye blessed of My Father. . The evening ot this life will passg its shadows will fade be- fore the glorious light ot Heaven! ln eternity, all the Au- gustinian Family will be one in Christ, sharing the Beatitic Vision with Mary and their Holy Father Saint Augustine.

ADMINISTRATICN Our Father Rector, with his administrative statt, is the core and lite ot Mendel Catholic High School. This ad- ministrative group skillfully heads an enthusiastic faculty. Continuing the monumental work ot Father Seary- Father Cavanaugh, Father Grace, Father Verstynen and Father McNabb combine wise administration with pro- gressive leadership to shape Nlendel's destiny. Under such capable direction, our school will attain its goal ot Christian education ot youth and the extension of Christ's Mystical Body on earth.
