Our Administrative Staff Runs Central Efficiently THE BACKBONE of every school is its administration. Central is for- tunate to have an excellent staff. From Nlr. King, our principal, to each vvorker in the cafeteria, our staff is experienced and efficient. IN THE HURRY of school activities we sometimes overlook the many behind-the-scene tasks which must be done to keep Central operating smoothly. Handling school records, preparing delicious and nourishing meals, and keeping Central's build- ing up-to-date are all duties of the office staff, the lunchroom staff, and the maintenance crew. All three staffs work to make Central the finest school in Memphis. ADJUSTING A FAUCET on one of the new water fountains is Mr. Gunn, our custodian. Although we rarely see Mr. Gunn, the good condition of our school testifies to his activity. W ,YN44 r,.,.2.. -v. ny' Sf T, ing HELPING TO KEEP our office are our secretaries, Miss Margaret Kenney and Miss Clara Hazen. Their duties include keeping scholastic and attendance records of each student and sending transcripts of grades to colleges. EVERYONE AGREES THAT on a cold day a hot lunch makes the day's work easier. Mrs. Neal, manager of the lunchroom, goes over the day's menu with Mattie Susenberry, Allie Williams, and Mary Barr, several members of her staff. , 9 , . .f'fQ' 1' it-4 f
