With the end of the '73-'74 school year we saw the completion of Dr. Darland's first year as prin- cipal ot Memorial. As an assistant principal at Memorial the past nine years, he easily moved into the top position. Presiding over school activi- ties, he initiated new Programs and revised old ones. He introduced the distributive and coopera- tive education programs which opened up new opportunities for many of us. Guiding the faculty and us through the Mason-Memorial phase, the adjustments in enrollment, and the time change, Dr. Darland has striven to be aware of change and has initiated new policies as circumstances have arisen, and as we, the students, have changed. 3OAFtD OF EDUCATION-left to right, Mrs. Mary Warner, Ftoben L.
