Fenelon Boesche President To you, the students of Memorial Senior High School, I offer hearty congratulations. Opening a new school is a difficult task-for administra- tors, teachers, and the numerous other people involved in planning the physical plant itself and the instructional program to be offered. Such a venture also places a great responsibility on the student body-that of building whole- some school spirit, helping to set and maintain high ac- ademic standards, and developing high regard for scholastic excellence. These are important in that they are contributions toward realization of the primary purpose of public education in this country-the perpetuation of the American Way of Life. CHARLES C.
