THEO VAN WINKLE likes to collect antiques and visit art museums. She feels that her greatest personal achievement was when she married a loving, thoughtful, brilliant man. She received her B.A. and M.A. in English at UT and she said that Memorial was an exciting center of education where students had maximum opportunity for growth. She taught English I - L and I- K. Concerning Women's Lib, Mrs. Van Winkle said, I am definitely for the rights of all people to do and be what they want as long as they accept the responsibilities that are inherent in a free society. I am certainly for Women's Lib in that respect. To celebrate the Bicentennial, she planned to visit the west coast with her family.
