Entertain Orphans, Enter Science Fair What may seem, to the uninitiated student, a barrage ot suspicious theories, dissected pigs, the mysteries ot quantum numbers, odors ot tormaldehyde, and problems in time and space is really scientitic intormation ottered to Memorialites in tour areas-chemistry, biology, phys- ics, and physical science. Second year courses in chemis- try, and biology advance aspiring sci- entists even turther toward their goals. This year a program ot team-teaching in biology, plus tormal presentation ot research proiects by second-year stu dents distinguished the science depart- ment's curriculum. At Thanksgiving they sent tour bags ot tood to needy tamilies, and at Christmas gave a party tor chil- dren at the Faith l-lome Orphanage. January tound them touring the Texas Rehabilitation Center. Selling candy and attending a convention in Corpus Christi in April completed the club's year. Gosh, it the bus doesn't show up, we'll have to hitchhike to the Medical Center Medical Careers Club prepares to leave on a tield trip.
