FTA Offers Teaching Opportunities The Future Teachers of America offers its mem- bers practical teaching opportunities in actual classroom situations and a better understanding of the teaching profession. Girls observed and aided elementary teachers at work, and attended the State Convention held this year in Houston. Medical Careers Visits Medical Center A better understanding and knowledge of the med- ical field is the aim of the Medical Careers Club. Mem- bers participated in field trips to the Houston Medical Center, sponsored a Christmas party for the children at Faith Home, and attended the Harris County Medical Careers Club Rally Day in March.
