emnriag Cheerleaders go big game hunting for the Spring Woods Tiger at the Friday morning pep rally before the Homecoming game. The next morning the charred cen- ter-piece remains standing amid the smoking ruins. Senior boys start off the bonfire by stacking wood on a slowly-growing pile.

Mustangs lead a full and active life. . . . From fall until spring, they‘re off and running through the wide range of extracurricular activities at MHS. .. . The immense vitality and high spirits of this energetic breed are clearly demonstrated in the amount of constructive effort unleashed when they give free rein to the ir creative talents in the enjoyment of leisure time.

As the flames reached to the sky, so did the spirits of every Mustang present. The light of victory sparkled in the faces of all. | | | Spring Woods entrance before a flaming exit...
