-1 Parent Teacher Association The Parent Teacher Association is an organization of interested parents and teachers working to further and en- hance the processes of the school. Among their activities was a very successful Mexican Supper, the proceeds of which went into a scholarship fund to help a deserving senior to continue his or her education. Mrs. Mendez and Mr. Gonzales, P.T.A. president, were coordinators of the supper which broke all previous fund raising records. P.T.A. The seniors then ' form a ring around the audience, unite hands, and recite the class motto. It is, for most seniors, a very personally fulfilling ceremony marking the beginning of the culmination of twelve years of education. Congressman Hemy B.
