We are the magicians. Each one of us is magical in his own special way. Throughout the years we have grown together and witnessed the changes that have taken place among us. Though each of us has his own individuality, we stick together like magic when things have to be done and problems have to be solved. We look out for one another and we help out one another. Our class - the Class of 1985 - has all these magical qualities and many more. But our main magic comes from the caring that we have for one another. 3

in MEMORY KEVin RIDEOUT In the fall of 1982, the Class of ' 85 returned as Sophomores having suffered a tragic loss - our classmate, Kevin Rideout, had died in an unfortunate car accident the previous summer. Mow, in our Senior year, as graduation approaches, we shall pause a moment to remember Kevin, Although he cannot be with us at this time, a part of Kevin lives on in the hearts of each and every one of us - this very special member of the Class of 1985. LOUIS TRIMQUE On September 27, 1984, Middleborough High School lost a long-time friend, Mr. Louis Trinque. Mr, Trinque had worked at MHS as head custodian since its opening in 1972. Previously he had been employed at the Independent nail Company and Plymouth Shoe. He graduated from Middleboro Memorial High School in 1948 and served in the Korean War from 1951-1953. Mr. Trinque was a life-long resident of Middleborough and he and his wife Shiriey brought up their son, Paul, here. Mr. Trinque was often heard talking about his granddaughter, Lindsay, as all proud grandfathers do. Because of his interest in students and sports, Mr. Trinque was often seen at Sachem sporting events. He assisted as the gate at football games. His concern for the high school and ail the people involved with it were a shining light in the high school. Mister Trinque was a pillar of Middleborough High School. We remember his presence, concern for others and friendly ways. We are saddened by his untimely passing away and will always think of Xouie as a large part of what MHS is all about. 2
