LYNCH Superintendent of Schools I wish I were a song, a song so fully joy Its melody would sound from Pole to Pole So lift the burden from each aching heart And comfort every sad bewildered soul. I wish I were a poem, to be read In every land where human speech is heard. An epic of such grand heroic strength That youth to nobler living would be stirred. Life is a song, a poem if we will but make it so Whether it reaches many or but a few who knows. Though it be sad or joyous Filled with delight or tears Still shall its joyous message echo through the years. WILLIAM S.
