Indians Dazed Homecoming festivities commenced with the traditional Clash and Color Days. The Senior Class float, Munch Menomonief' took first place in the parade. Second place was awarded to Pep Clubls Bug Menomonie . At the gamels opening kickoff, fans launched helium filled balloons, including two enor- mous ones with over-sized postcards. The Abes were again victorious when they mas- sacred the Indians 26-13. Homecoming week- end climaxed with the crowning of Tom Poquette and Jane Sorensen as King and Queen of MacArthur Park. Gregg Bohlig and Debbie Olson reigned as Vice-King and Queen. Library Council predicted a victory with their pre- sentation to the team. I if-if fr en? in-is gif A A 1 . W Amateurs Strive for Professionalism Thespians, Front Row: J. Anderson, S. Quayle, A. Dooley, L. Brumberg, B. Dean. Back Row: B. Nowak, P. Botsford, J. Buttenhoff, R. Ross, S. Robinson, L. Breitman, K. Midelfort, L. Patterson, J. Solander. Thespian skit won third place award on skit night. Thespian officers Jean Anderson, Sue Quayle, Ann Dooley, and Bill Dean headed this year's activities by helping to initiate new members into the club. Six Footlighters gained the necessary twenty points needed to be accepted and brought the fall membership to fourteen. Troup 1660 also put on a play and sponsored a series of short experimental films entitled Genesis I. Footlighters, Rossie Ross and Barb Nowak, cautious- ly watch for Thespians during their initiation.
