Learning Techniques Develops Proficiency To begin their study in business, students enrolled in data processing, bookkeeping, and secretarial classes. Two new teachers were added to the faculty in the business depart- ment. They were Miss Tibbits, typing, and Mrs. Renaldi, data processing. A new activity, the Secretarial Co-op, was added to the business department this year. Nine girls were sent out on jobs 6th and 7th hours. These girls gained experience for further office work. Jim Syth exhibits his projects for wood-working. Diligently working on drafting plans is Jim Faulkner. Many Activities Comprise Industrial Arts Useful projects were made in Industrial Arts to prepare boys for a future in mechani- cal Work. While working with various types of machines, safety rules had to be enforced at all times. This fact became apparent when two accidents occurred. Mr. Bents cut his hand on an electric saw and Mike Aasen in- jured his fingers. l Studying the intricate parts of a television set is Jeff Jarocki. ll Sanding wood is one of the preliminary steps Greg Belden takes to complete his Hnal project.
