Pictures Relate Year Deadlines Within deadlines were used this year in order that Kodak could meet an early sixty-five page deadline in November. For the first time, using co-editors, the pressure was put on two people in assuming responsibility for successfully meeting these deadlines, coordinating the book, and pro- moting cooperation in the staff. As in past years, Kodak students sched- uled pictures of school activities with the photography department. But for last minute pictures, they used their own Polaroid cam- era. Stageoraft Allows Creativity Precision by Mark Mueller is required to make stage sets. Dave Myers and Dan Dachel find working with chicken wire exasperating. Stagecraft worked with drama classes to help create school productions. The students made the background scenery for plays, as- semblies, and the Variety Show. Construction for the Variety Show included Working on a ten foot statue of Athena. The staff, advised by Mr. Kinney, established an Editorial Council to debate controversial is- sues. The policy was to present both sides of problems that affect Memorial students and the community.
