Mr. Hansis presents a lecture on welfare to an American History class. Historical information was given to classes by Mr. O'Gara. History Is a Passing Minute Social Science courses, objective was to ac- quaint Seniors with world situations. One of the highlights was a combined showing of the Drug Turn On . A Junior requirement was American His- tory. Besides studying the textbook, students heard various people speak on pertinent sub- jects. To modernize the World History course, it was divided into the three courses of Non- vvestern Civilization, Ancient European His- tory, and Modern European History. Each course consisted of a semester in length and counted one-half credit. Non-western Civili- zation encompassed all of the areas of the world, except Europe and America. Mr. Hagenba.rth's help is essential in solving equations. Figures Are Limitless The Math Department offered students a wide mastery of skills from Sophomore Geometry and Algebra to intermediate and advanced programs. To extend this field of study, electronic data processing under the direction of Mr. Osterhus and Mrs. Renaldi was added. This course combined one semes- ter of data processing with computer concepts and challenged students' skills in keypunch and computer programming. Students try their hands at computer programming Mr. Peterson conveys geometric functions to Peter Ramberg and Paulette Ponick. J ,
