Consistent Wrestlers Continue Success Despite the loss of virtually all lettermen, wrestling at Memorial continued its winning streak. A young varsity squad, coached by Mr. Loucks, recorded a seven win three loss record in dual meets, with a close second in a tournament at North. Mr. Reinkeis Ju- nior Varsity compiled an excellent record of ten wins no losses. With several experienced underclassmen to replace seniors, wrestling has much to look forward to. Bob Bartingale works to break his man down to the mat. Don Bestul and opponent take advantage of a. momen tary rest between periods. J.V. Harriers Prove Strength Memorial's 1969-70 cross country team posted a 4-0 dual meet record. The team, coached by Mr. J emiska, defeated River Falls and Cadott in triangular meets and placed second in a quadrangular meet held on Oc- tober 18. Abe harriers finished second out of nine teams at the Cadott Invitational. In the Regional Tournament held at Marsh- field, the team placed sixth out of seven teams. Bob Holbrook was the team's leading scorer with 50 points. He took 16th place out of 49 runners in the Regional meet.
