ExceHent 11 Q Opportunities t i , ORCHESTRA - Back Roux' M. Lynnes, T. Peterson, J. McGlaughlin, Mr. Johnson. Rott' Three: C. Ecker, J. Matz, C. Klopp, R. Holte, G. Bruckshaw, F. Henning, J. Wilson, K. Wilson, K. Garlie, J. Krueger. Ron' Two: C. Mortimer, T. Hoepner, M. Piff, L. Martin, R. Patrow, N. jordan, C. Felton. Front Roux' D. Anderson, P. McDonald, A. Tealey, B. Baker, B. DeLine. An organization which has increased in num- ber and quality, is the orchestra at M.H.S. Under Mr. johnson's direction, they have striven for the highest degree of perfection for its size. Okla- homa , a production which was presented by the choir and orchestra, proved to be the largest feat accomplished this year. The orchestra also pre- sented several concerts in which they performed very difficult, but beautiful, music. Providing the greatest opportunity for the greatest number is one feature of the music de- partment seldom realized. The Second Band en- ables a large number of aspirants to practice techniques that may eventually result in graduation to First Band. In this way Band is more than a showpiece for the community. lm.,
