Haag C443 executes an involuntary The following week brought the Abe's reserve power to full strength again with the lifting of the suspension. The crucial conference game between the Abes and the Wausau Lumberjacks saw two junior pivotmen divide 36 points be- tween them. John Harsh contributed twenty points while Jon Haag added 16. The Purple cinched at least a share of the Conference crown as they triumphed over the Lumber- jacks, 80-65. The last game of the season with tough, non-conference rival, LaCrosse Logan, turned out to be almost a repeat of the defeat dealt Eau Claire earlier in the season. Eight points again separated the teams with Logan winning 65-57.
