Champzonship Team Hockey The class of '72 had a great deal to do with the fantastic record achieved by this year's hockey team. Seniors Jer- ry Gagnon, Dick Proulx, Paul Martel, Gary Gendron, Steve Beaurivage, and Torn Croasdale helped Memorial win the City Title and the Southern New Hampshire League Championship. Memorial became runner up in the state tourney, and, for the first time, participated in the New England Toumament. Underclassmen who will be returning next year to try to duplicate some of this year-'s records include Dave Croasdale, John Corriveau, Guy Croasdale, Marcel Gagnon, Kono Nolet, Wax Johnson, Billy Rogers, Ber- nie Martel, Bob dePinquertaine.

Championship Team Football Thanksgiving Day, 1971 will live in infamy as far as Memorial High Football is concerned. Not so much for the storm, nor the half time show which fea- tured a half-dozen plows, not even the 12-6 game it- self, but more for the record that was set on that day. The Crusader's unblemished record of 10 wins, no losses and no ties surmounts all previous marks. No longer will the 9-0-0 team of '65 be under the spot- light, because a new star has come upon the scene. This year's squad has all too often heard the story of the team of '65. Yet '71 was a great year too. Plaudits must go to both coaches for doing an excel- lent job. Coaches Bob Chabot and Hubie Mc- Donough will have to put their game plans back into hiding until next fall.
