Here is to typing class and its 55 minutes of pain; I swear by all that is holy, you'll never get me in here again. All the teacher ever says is ready, set, and go-- Sometimes I don't get what she means; but then, sometimes I know. Anyone will tell you that typing is just swell, The only thing that makes it hard, is the fact you have to spell. The typewriter I have is an Underwood, I think a model A-- The darn thing nearly blew up when it slung a rod today. We have a typewriting speed chart, which shows how fast we type, The fact my name's not on it, is one reason why I gripe. We have a very nice teacher; I've never heard her shout-- All she ever says is, HPlease, throw your chewing gum out. Every time I think of leaving, I begin to shed a tear, But I cheer up when she tells me, that I'll be back again next year. By Mike Lawrence 3:15: But Dear, Harvard is a . Homeward bound -- boys,' school. WHEW! .. 7:30: Oh, dear! Now what? ? ? ?
