First, we struggle out of bed, Feeling not much more than dead. Breakfast is over and off we go, The prospect of learning makes us move slow. A mad dash -- we're there on time, First period English -- 3. Shakespeare rhyme. nOh! What a Beautiful ' ' The school bell is ring- Next is Math, and then comes History, Morning, ' Fourth period is Ag, 01' Homemaking mystery. What do you thlnk we tBy now we're in our stubborn mood, are--brains? Waiting for the bell that signals FOOD'U A J ing; we're gonna be late. After lunch a meeting we aught to attend, But we skip it, and toward the lawn we wend. Again we hear the class bell sound, Grumpling and complaining, we scramble from the ground. The next class lasts forever and more, Yet finally we're out and race for the door. Now 1t's last period and we're well on our way, Toward the end of another long, wearisome day. hi The coaches' whistle is heard screeching its blast, That means get dressed and out here , and boy, they mean fast. 5 At long last, the school day is over; and With hearts filled with joy, We trudge home and are greeted with; Get to work, my boy!
