DRAMA The Melrose High School Drama Club is composed of the talented actors and actresses of our student body. The members completed another successful season with their play “The Hollow,” a suspenseful mystery. Both the actors and stage crew deserve recognition for their fine performances, and we anticipate professional performances by some of the more talented members on our movie screens! The Winter show featured a variety of popular songs while the Spring show featured music from Broadway productions. The girls needed no dancing experience, although it was helpful. Officers lead warm-up sessions for all the club members where new dance steps were taught and the girls worked on their dances for the shows. Either individually or in groups, the girls chose the music, choreographed the steps, and made their own costumes. When the rehearsals, work, and costumes were finished, the performers proved entertaining and successful.
