FOOTBALL 36-24-36 — HIKE 1 The Melrose High football team, led by Captain Phil Pierce, kicked off to a fantastic start this year by defeating Lexington, 44-7. But, unfortunatly, the team suffered many injuries — causing them to fumble the season . . . RUDE 1 . . . de Camptown Ladies . . . doo dah . . . The tense and exciting season came to an end when they played their rivals — the Wakefield Warriors on Thanksgiving morning. The Red Raiders and their great team effort pulled through the Turkey Game by defeating the War- rio rs 50-26.
