Mixed Cfwrud The mixed chorus under the direction of Mrs. Harry Hoffert will go to the Music Festival at Hopewell Loudon on April l8. They will give four musical numbers. Certain members from the boys and girls glee clubs will also present their numbers as a group. Some oi these same members will also participate in the Music Cliaic at an earlier date. elmo! Kaul The school band have been giving a number of pep performances at our basket- ball games this year. This is the band's first year also under the direction of Mrs. Holfert. Many students in the band are also in the school orchestra who will play in the Music Festival on April ls at Hopewell Loudon. H- Ueena The Y-Teens an active group of girls who meet, usually once a month, under the supervision of Mrs. Dale Shellhouse, to discuss local projects. They have also been active in a social way, planning school parties for every- ons's pleasure, and being helpful in many ways. -9235 KKK? wen unar slag This is our high school paper stall under the direction of Miss Bernice Gautschi. This group prints a paper about once a month. lt is a lot ol work to edit the paper but every- one seems to enjoy it, and to get a lot out of it

This ls the 1950 track team. The trophy was won by the 1949 track team. Those not pictured were Edward Burnside, Charles Hoerlg, Charles Shenkel, Paul Fatzinger, and Ray Conner. This is the baseball team. They were defeated in the county by a slight score of 14 to l. This is the 1950 7th and 8th basketball team. Up to date they have won their first county tournament game. We have confidence that they will place high in the county tournament This is the high school basketball team which we feel has done a fine job considering the fact they have so few junior and Senior boys. We also feel that the coach has done a fine job with material he has to work with.
