Melcher really hit its stride in the County Tournament when it swamped Swan 120 to 5. In the second round Melcher lost to Knox- ville 38-34, and to Bussey in the Consolation round. In the Sectional Tournament they gave Runnels the Bum's Rush. 51- 21 and c.-me been the following Friday, only to be ncsed out S53-31 in the last seconas by Carlisle.
