LETTERMEN'S CLUB The Lettermen's Club is an organization composed of students who have earned a letter in a varsity athletic activity. The purpose of this group is to promote interest in the school's athletic program. Each year an initiation is held for all incoming members. The annual homecoming festivities are sponsored by the Lettermen's Club. To earn funds, the club handles the concessions at the basketball games. Sponsor of the Lettermen's Club is Rick Gillespie, the head coach at Melbourne. sady, Sergeant-at-Army. The high school Art Club has done many things for our school this year. They decorated the cafeteria with murals of tropical fish. In addition to these beautiful murals, the Art Club secured the eight bulletin boards in the main hall for display. Before Christmas, the art students made place mats for those hospitalized in the Patrick Air Force Base hospital. They also participated in an art exhibit in the Melbourne stores, and in the Around the World Tour of World Neighborhood pictures.
