The Honor Society is an organization whose object is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character and honesty in the students of Melbourne High School. Membership in the Honor Society is open to any sophomore, junior or senior who has maintained a ninety-three or above scholastic average for the preceding semester and meets the standards of leadership, character and service.

The main project of the Student Council this year was the operation of the Green and White, a concession stand for the students' convenience during both lunch hours. Through these projects the Student Council has endeavored to serve the student body and the administration to the best of its ability.
