Most of the members have played in the band before, thereby enabling them to mo ehesd more rapidly Severrl new songs were learned, including NThe Beer Barrel Polkun and nGod Bless American. The band played at Caldwell at the S.W.l. chempionship game. They also attended n concert given by the U.S. Nfvy Band in Nampa on October 20 In order thrt the new students might not hinder the more advanced ones, Mr. Palmer organized a beginners' band, consisting of ll members. Several hzve dropped due to limited time for prec tice, but those remaining have practiced faithfully every day. Some of the group will play for commencement.
