. X r The glee club was organized at the beginning of the year, with Mr. Pal f mer, director. The group showed a decided improvement over last year, and several more boys turned out to fill up the tenor and bass sections. A few more girls joined the group to make the part singing much better The music sung by the group was entertaining, and the students received much enjoyment from it. Most of the members have played in the band before, thereby enabling them to mo ehesd more rapidly Severrl new songs were learned, including NThe Beer Barrel Polkun and nGod Bless American. The band played at Caldwell at the S.W.l. chempionship game. They also attended n concert given by the U.S. Nfvy Band in Nampa on October 20 In order thrt the new students might not hinder the more advanced ones, Mr. Palmer organized a beginners' band, consisting of ll members.
