Ji., l b ' C HM- .A-' 9 .. Qtiblx 'VQ7 Q S , On September 9, 1937, we entered Melba High School, a frightened group of students. However, by the end of our freshmen year we felt quite at home. Last year we came trooping back to help welcome the freshmen who had stepped up in our places of the your before. This year we came back with o junior class of 33 students. We chose for our class advisor, Miss Casterlin, and our officers were as follows:Earl Cummings, president' James Gifford, vice president, Ilene Brunzell, secret aryg Teresa Gorostiza, treasurer, and Carl Barr, councilman At the beginning of the second semester we elected the following our officers: Lawrence Roberts, presidentg Billy Splawn, vice presidentg Ilene Brunzell, secretaryg Homer Lyon, treasurer, and Don Johnson, council man. On April 19, we entertained the seniors at the annual banquet at the Dewey Palace, and then danced in a Hawaiian atmosphere in the gym The class enjoyed several parties, and the mrmbfrs were outstanding in Wo, the junior class, are looking foreward to next year when we will all meet again to complete our high school careers Members of the class are Cback rcwlx Axel Kfnnegaard, Earl Cummings, Clinton Charters, Ilene Brunzell, Carl Barr, Catherine Curtis, Weslie Barker and Marcella Mathews.
