Everyone who knew him, knew what a great, talented, and handsome young man he was. He was a winner, not only with the friends he knew and loved, but also in his aca- demic and athletic achievements. Gene was a friend to everyone and remained ready to lend a helping hand and his sense of humor to those in need. His smile was constant and his wit abundant. We all loved Gene and he will always have a place in our hearts as long as our memo- ries of him exist. 36 S Cindy Murray 1961-1976 Cindy Murray was a most sensitive young lady who gave of herself to her fellow students at Meigs Junior High. Her love of people and mu- sic allowed Cindy to contribute much to the choral music program. As a member of the Concert Chorus and the Girls' Ensemble, Cindy enjoyed the true beauty of sharing through music. As we remember Cindy, we must be humbled by her perseverance.
