R-9 huses, one ot the conveniences of a modern dcmocracv, covered an estimated 200,000 miles this vear and transported 2,750 students a day. This was all done through the work of I9 drivers. Mr. Vincent Under Secretaries Stuckmever. bus supervisor, stated that the huses traveled 1,000 miles a dav in the extensive area of the district.
