With one-fourth of its Mehlville career completed, the class of '52 confidently began its second trek through the local hall of knowl- edge. Although their chief purpose was to ab- sorb some of this knowledge, the sophomores also were looking forward to the many class activities. To guide them, the class chose Mrs. Janese Welty and Mr. O. W. Woods as spon- sors. In addition, the following class officers were chosen: president, Ed Langford, vice- president, Vernon Jones, secretary, Jean Brunkg treasurer, Carl Johnsong and Council representative, Jane Eikmann.
