Hamby, Vice-President, Joy Watson, Secretary, and Raychel Honeycutt, Treasurer. Sponsors are Mrs. Yvonne Hampton and Mr. Gene McPhail. Officers are elected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, and personality. After serving one year as a student council member the student remains an honorary member of the council and attends all meetings. We are very proud of the progress we have made this year. Projects of the student council have been to sponsor the Halloween carnival, the school annual, the Christmas tree and the morning devot- ions. The proceeds from the Halloween carnival amounted to 3514511.79 and will be applied to- ward the purchase of needed school equipment.
