Borden-Treas; N. Jaeger-Sec; P. Gi- sewhite-Vice Pres; L. Somogyi-Pres. Right: I can ' t believe I finally made it! Senior year, last year at M.H.S. The past years have shown us the ways of school life. Wonder- ing why this year ' s Freshmen seemed so small; standing for recognition; assuming positions of seniority in clubs and student council; feeling the weight of real leadership for the first time; ce- menting friendships; selecting the best colleges; perspiring under the pressure of a nearing term paper deadline; developing a sense of independ- ence; realizing that underclassmen do follow the Senior example and anticipating prom night. We found that our best efforts were united ones, but we learned too, that we could stand alone. As underclassmen we knew only what was ex- pected of us by others. But as Seniors, we learned what we could expect of ourselves. While another year of experiences has slipped by, the production of a bigger and better yearbook has captured the highlights of the year. The Mock Democratic Convention not only proved a success but also as an insight to the real conventions. Brigadoon was a smash hit as the music and drama departments combined their talents into one big production. The Prom, being the social highlight of the year, was held at Stan Hywet Hall in Akron. With more color pictures and extra pages the staff of the 1972 Medinian hopes to bring back reminders of the past and many hours of enjoyable browsing to MHS students. Editor ' s thanks go to the staff for their dedication and hard work to make this a great book and to Chevy for his patience and cooperation. We had a great time!
