Student Aids In a complex high school such as ours, it is increasingly difficult for such in- stitutions to rely solely on payed help to get all the “Dirty Work” done. Here we pay tribute to the consciencious few who are constantly mocked by the lazy many. Needless to say they are to be congratulated for, if nothing else, their simple care about their school. Absent: Mrs. Schafer The vocational and business departments are the most practical in the school. They give ample background to those students who wish to work im- mediately after high school and who do not plan to go to college. The addition of a freshman work pro- gram gives an early start for those who need it. Mr. Wells seems a bit startled by our camera. Mrs. Oates seems to be saying “Get out of my kitchen.”

Frosh Fight Fire With Fire This year’s freshmen class ex- pressed their class enthusiasm through the building of one of the largest Homecoming bonfires in Medina’s history. It is to be noted that they further proved their spirit by building a second bon- fire when the first met a fiery death prior to Homecoming fes- tivities. This second one, built in a single afternoon, by far sur- passed the grandeur of the first. Besides their abounding spirit our frosh provided sports thrills with excellent football and basketball teams and the first Medina freshmen wrestling team. FRESHMEN CLASS OFFICERS: J.
