Art and Social Studies Departments Offer Variety The Social Studies Department of Medina has become larger and better. Besides Civics and Economics, which are senior require- ments and American History, which is a jun- ior requirement, World History, Psychology, and Sociology are also offered to students. The Art and Music Departments are equal- ly important. Students have the choice of band, choir, and orchestra, as well as Music Theory. In the Art Department, Art, Crafts, and Art History and Appreciation are offered. Beginning this year, only freshmen and so- phomores are required to participate in physi- cal education, although it is also open to up- perclassmen. Miss Lawrence and Gym Leader Sue Lipstreu help freshman gym students leap over that Crazy Horse. Miss Huddle shows Bob Ward how the boot kicks the football. Much more fun than World History! Two members of the Medina chapter of FMA (Future Mil- lionaires of America) peruse their favorite periodical.
