Medina City Schools has indeed been fortunate to have the services of two very able and qualified men to set the pace of the entire educa- tional system. These two educators are our superintendent and our high school principal. Under their leadership, the number of individual buildings has risen to five with additions at three of the buildings in order to accommodate the ever-increasing student popula- tion. While the building program has forged ahead, the academic life of the student has not been neglected. Many new and advanced courses, as well as vocational offerings have been added to the schedule. Opportunities for the worthy grad- uate has also increased with the forming of the Dollars for Scholars fund. These past six years have been ones of definite progress and a great por- tion of this success is due entirely to our two very able leaders, Dr. Gotaas and Mr. Loughridge. Marion E.
