Our theme has been taken from the cartoon strip created by Charles M. Schulz. We wish to thank the United Feature Syndicate for allowing us to use “Pea- nuts”. We hope you enjoy it. 3 This book is dedicated to Richard Stacy. Mr. Stacy, who was direc- tor of music at the senior high for eleven years, has given many band students worthy advice and guidance. We are greatly indebted to him for building one of the best high school bands in the area. We would like to wish Mr. Stacy sincere good luck in his new job as principal of the junior high school. 4 SENIORS SENIORS The last officers of the graduating class of 1963 pose in front of the door of their “alma mater’’. They are Tim Dwyer— President; Woody Salmons— Treasurer; Wade Boyle— Vice President; Ed Chamberlain— Secretary and Skip Kisner— Student Council Representative. Absent when this picture was taken was Debbie Dannley —Vice-President. The juniors have spent most of the year in an effort to make the Junior-Senior Prom a success. The profits gained from working in the concession stand during games and at noon were used for the Prom which was entitled “Venus.” Also the profits gained from the mums that were sold at Homecoming went toward the expense of the Prom. We, the staff of the Medinian, are sure that the juniors are looking forward to being seniors next year. 32 Joyce Abeling Linda Akers John Austin Michele Baczuk Barbara Batchelder Charles Bates Linda Belak Robert Berry Linda Bilinovich Paula Blakeslee David Blosser . Queen Becky Freidt and her attendants, Joanne Smith and Gail Gabelli, reigned over a victorious game against the Fairview Warriors. The rainy weath- er which we had on Friday, September 28, dampened both the Bee Boosters and the team, but not their spirit. After a hard fight on the part of both teams, the Bees won 12-0. After the game, Medina fans and their dates at- tended a dance at the Senior High School to celebrate the victory over Fairview and to honor the Home- coming Queen. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the sounds of the “Stardusters”. All the Homecoming festivities were very successful and enjoyed by all. Oooo-oo this is exciting!
