We were a normal class and when we swarmed into the hive we were as green as any other class, First of all, as is the custom, we elected our officers, Those lucky kids were Ed Dornbirer, president, Frank Mora, vicevpresident, Dick Parish, secretary-treasurer, and Jim l-lolden, student council representative. With that out of the way, we didn't have anything else to do so we planned a class party, Everyone had a swell time. The fellows went out for football and basketball and made the grade. The girls, not to be slighted, represented us in G.A.A., Y-Teens and many other activities. Thanks to our sponsors, Mr, Linn, Mr, Plank, and Miss l-litzelberger-everything went much better than anyone expected. Summer just flew by and we found ourselves back in the groove again, but this time not so green. Again we elected officers and this time they were Dick Parish, president, Joyce Anderson, vice-president, Dave Ellis, secretary-treasurer, and Jim l-lolden, stu- dent council representative. For once the girls were lucky and got one of their number into officef We went out for the same activities as last year, and many more, but we are a modest class. There were a few more class parties and a dance sponsored for the high school, With our sponsors, Mr, Demuth, Miss Clift and Miss Jackson, helping us, we succeeded in climbing another rung of the ladder of success.
