Class Hi tor The halls of' Medina High School were invaded in 1950 by 22 wide- eyed, green freshmen. But wait---we weren't freshmen yet. First we had to be at the mercy of the sophmore class. Such people as Raymond Hofmann, Ronald Thom, and Gerald Eissinger drove the teachers wild with their insane questions. Others in our class were Lois Brader, Del Ben- son, Janet Christopher, Melvin Enzminger, Dorothy Fanth, Eileen Gies- ler, Phyllis Haglund, Darlene Hina, Clarence Moos, James Meidinger, wilbert Reister, JoAnn Reule, Mona Rsule, Naomi Ruff, Jerzy Schaeffer, Ronald Trautman. Leland Wahl, Arlys Wittmer, and Leon Moser. Eileen Silzle Joined us during the year but JoAnn Reule quit so we still had 22 freshmen. we came back in 1951 to find that we had lost three members of our class. Melvin Enzminger had moved to Tappen. We also lost Clarence Moos and Naemi Ruff. Our spphmore year was spent teach- ing the freshmen class what we had learned in our first year of high school. Eugene Forester who had been with us in the eighth grade joined our class but we soon lost him. we also lost Leland Wahl. Time went by very quickly and we were all waiting to be Juniors. At last, mighty juniors were we. Larry Ford joined our class but Eileen Silzle was gone. She again joined us after Christmas. A lot happened during our Junior year. We presented our first class play, which was a mystery called WDrume of Deathn, under the direct- ion of Mr. Schoeler. We also gave the prom in honor of the senior class. The theme of the prom was 'Moon-light and Rosesu. Mr. Hall- grimson, our class advisor, helped us very much to make the prom the big success that it was. We also put out one edition of the school paper and got our class rings. In 1954 we came back to school again and this time we were the senior class. We lost a large part of our class. mhev were Lois Brad- er, Phyllis Haglund, James Meidinger, Leon Moser, Wilhert Beister, and Ronald Trautman. Phyllis is attending school in Jamestown and Lois is going to school in Big Bend. James has joinded the U. S. Army. We presented our class play WCrazy but Cuten which turned out very well. Mr. Schoeler was our director. We also put out the school paper and the school annual. The Junior class helped with the paper. Graduation is drawing nearer and nearer. We will all miss our high school days but we are all looking forward to having a brilliant future to come. SPONSORED BY BORTH 6 SPIEDEL
