She is thinking of her school-mates, and looking thoughtfully about the room she says: January 29, 1950. Oh, how lonely I am. I'd give anything to know what my class-mates have accomplished in life. Say, look who's coming! Father Time! FATHER TIME: I have come to tell you about your friends and classmates. SHIRE KIPNIS is the president of the Medill Finance Company, and has for his competent force FANNIE FRIED, as secretaryg ANNA LEVIN, typistg ANTHONY MAZZA, financial advisorg ARTHUR LEVIN, sales managerg JOSEPH PARENTI. Across from this office is a popular theatre which is starring the famous stars, ESTHER SOLOMON and CARMON GERBOSI, who are supported by any all-star cast consisting of HYMAN COHEN, LENA ZIMMERMAN, LAURA BROWN, and JEROME COI-IEN'S beautiful dancer, CHERUBINA CAMPOLATTARA3' N'i. The talent and ability of these stars are indeed worthy of the complirneiiiary criticism given them by EVA SWEET, head of the Tribune's Critic Staff. iii. The young woman listens eagerly to Father Time as he relates of a grand fete taking place at the FREEMAN HOTEL In the Grand Room are gathered the intellectuals of the day. SYDNEY GOLD- STEIN who drew first prize at the great art exhibition at Paris- MARY GOTTLIEB chief taxidermist of the Field Museum MARTHA KAPLAN aviatrix and her partner JOSEPH MITTLEMAN' GOLDIE NIAGOFF a very popular lecturer and reader MICHAEL RAPPAPORT political editor of the Tribune ANNETTE STERLING President of Library Society' JOHN SAN FILLIPO Ph D teaching at Northwestern University. Some of the prominent people that are attending it are SAM LIDERMAN Chicago s Police Commissioner- LOUISE NELSON and LOUISE JOHNSON teachers who have just returned from a trip abroad- CHARLES NIMEROV the leader of an orchestra FRED PRCHAL physical instructor STROTHVERT WASHINGTON presiding officer of Naval Conference at France GOLDIE OHRENSTEIN typist at NVhite House' ARNOLD ROSEN and ASHER TANSFR prominent New York and Chicago bankers.
