To the school that bears his name and that interested him most, he willed many educational books. This contribution helped the Medill to become prominent among Chicago schools. Several years later the Medill Junior College was added and the elementary school was dropped. Finally the College was transferred and only the High School remained. This year Medill expects to have a Junior High established within its friendly corridors.
