WARD ACLA The Alberta Cultural and Linguistics Awards April 22, 1988 Seven girls and one boy from grades 10-12 from MHHS competed in this year's ACLA competitions in Edmonton. Staff advisors, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Wat- son, drove the group up to Edmonton on Friday the 21st and returned to Medicine Hat on Sunday, 24th. The competitions were held on the Saturday and each student performed twice - once in the morning and once in the afternoon for a panel ofjudges who gave an adjudication at the end of each performance. Students participating were: Grade 12 Gina Beck and Bonnelle Bollinger Grade 11 Christine Franz and Sheila Eiserman Grade 10 Kerrie McDonald, Linda Paasuke, Lisa Reich and Jason Ross All students performed extremely well and we are very proud of them.
