JU IOR BADMINTO Members of the Grade Nine badminton team began practices in early March and continued until the last week in April. Players practiced two or three times per week and attended tournaments at McCoy, Ralston, Brooks and, ofcourse the city finals held at the Medicine Hat College. Kari McDonald, girls' singles, captured most of the team's hardware this year by placing first in the McCoy and Ralston tournaments, and by winning the city championship in her level, Congratula- tions Kari! Shauna Sommerstad and Lesley Mus- kuski placed third in girls' doubles at the city finals. Mr. Anderson extends a hearty thanks to all players who participated in Grade Nine bad- minton this year.
