PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE X x 1 lv As I reflect on the past year and look to the next, there is an overpowering positive feeling about the quality of our school, as well as a feeling of anticipation to meet the challenges of a new year. The high quality at Medicine Hat High School is due to the calibre of people who have frequented this institution during the year. The teaching staff, the secretarial staff, and the custodial staff have had an outstanding year by way of their contribution to the total learning enterprise. The parents, in particular Parent Council have been keenly supportive of both students and educational programs. This was a great year for activities at M.H.H.S. The band concerts, the art exhibitions, and the drama productions were in a class of their own. Our football team had a perfect 10-0 season. In other athletics many of our teams won league championships and completed at the provincial level. We were very proud of our organizations and enjoyed their performances. BEST WISHES are extended to all Grade XII's as they leave these hallowed halls. We trust they will forever keep before them the motto of wheelchair athletic Rick Hansen BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE . We hope students who are returning in the fall will have had a relaxing enjoyable summer. Our staff looks forward to working with you. D. J . Beresh Principal

E IOR HIGH PRE IDE T Another year has sped by us. It seems like only yesterday that we started our first year at MHHS. As president, I must say that this year was hectic. There were some failures, which is to be expected, but successful events outweighed these by far. The student council and executive members have been helpful throughout the year, and I thank them for this. Our school had to say goodbye to an excellent leader, our friendly and outspoken vice-principal, Mr. Zablocki. I am sure we will all miss him, but we say Good luck, Mr. Zab, and thanks for all your help throughout the year. ' ' To my fellow graduands: I would like to wish you good luck in the future. To those students who will return to MHHS: remember that high school is the best time of your life, so get involved! I would like to wish next year's student council the best of luck, and I thank all my friends who stuck by me all year.
