MICROBIOLOGY Ma Miller may be gone (though not forgotten) but Auntie Maria is bouncing merrily along. The students may get the antigens and antibodies mixed with haptens and reagins but one thing they do understand is the correct way to streak a culture plate. How to carry your microscope up and down the second floor is also an essential part of the Micro course which is mastered but never appreciated. Uncle Ralphie and his crew continue to get dry cultures and maintain a friendly attitude in spite of it. PATHOLOGY At last a course that mentions diseases and means those found in man, not rats or cats or dogs. But, remember trying to recall signs, symptoms, gross and microscopic of all those diseases for round-up each Monday? Speed-reading courses came in handy for reading Robbins and Anderson to complement your notes. Tranquilizers helped your anxiety neurosis about the exams and new glasses helped your eye strain from looking at all the slides. And what about your first autopsy and CPC?
