SURGERY at Woman ' s is very complicated; they want us in the O.R. and at lecture too. Eighty patients each and no one there to teach; and though they make us scrub, we get nothing to do. When in doubt, cut it out; that ' s how it goes. Operative risk is the least of our woes. Take your Dilantin ' cause everything goes, when they yell Cut it out !!! Surgery at V.A. is very stimulating; there ' s lots of information that ain ' t Surgery. We were first assistants to educated elbows; and if we didn ' t work, we were called a( (2 ' ).
